FIAT’s Lowest CO2 emissions record means bigger savings

Malta Independent Monday, 1 December 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Fiat’s mission has always been to make vehicles that are specifically designed to enhance their customer’s quality of life by making driving not only fun, but affordable and taking into consideration the environment.

With the largest number of ‘Car of the Year’ awards (9 times winner) and being the top manufacturer of the cleanest and most fuel efficient cars in the world with the lowest CO2 emissions, shows that in fact FIAT is the world’s carmaker that has responded most effectively to the need to limit the impact that transport has on the environment.

To achieve this important goal, Fiat has come up with concrete solutions that are within everyone’s reach and are on the market today. For example, it is European leader for the production of compact cars, by definition the most environment-friendly. The launch of the Fiat 500 which introduces Euro 5 Ready engines (petrol and diesel) two years ahead of the deadline is also testimony to this fact. That is not all. Fiat’s commitment has also resulted in the decision to introduce Euro 5 engines on the majority of its engine range by the end of 2009.

In this sense, UCIM announce that a money-saving, planet-friendly version of Fiat’s top-selling Panda is now being introduced in the Maltese market. The new FIAT PANDA ECO is a model which will further help to reinforce Fiat’s leading environmental credentials – the company is European leader in low CO2 vehicles. The new Panda ECO reaches an impressively low CO2 emissions level of 119 g/km.

The FIAT Panda Dynamic ECO is now being offered at an incredible price of only e10,850. This vehicle is not only environmentally-friendly but is powered with a 1.1 litre petrol engine which produces 75 bhp at 4000 rpm, with low fuel consumptions and exceptional savings. Special offers are also being offered on the 1.2 L Dynamic Panda whose price has been reduced to e11,000 from a pre budget price of e12,350.

One other key model which also contributed highly to FIAT’s own brand position is the new GRANDE PUNTO 1.2 which from e14,700 has now been reduced to a mere e13,500.

Further reductions and special offers are being offered on both models until 15 December or until stocks last.
