Employees at Bank of Valletta joined forces in a blood donation drive that was held at the BOV Head Office in Santa Venera. This Blood Donation Day was organised in conjunction with members of the Blood Bank, who set up their equipment and welcomed a continuous flow of employees throughout the day.

BOV staff members from both Head Office and various branches kept the Blood Bank team busy, with the last donors arriving just a few minutes before 3.30 pm, the official closing time for the event.

The keen response shown by staff members is testimony to the importance that the Bank gives to philanthropic initiatives, and is a tangible way of making a contribution towards those members of society who are in need.

The Blood Donation Mobile Unit regularly visits various localities around Malta, seeking to recruit new blood donors. Organisations who are interested in organising such an activity may contact the Malta National Blood Transfusion Centre.
