The Palace hotel has just introduced a healthy menu concept in its restaurants.

In collaboration with its Wellness Centre, run by Marion Mizzi, and under her guidance, The Palace’s restaurants have adopted a select healthy lunch and snack menu for those who seek it. The meals, which in the greater part include an Asian orientation, are very low in calories but very appetising.

They also offer a balanced diet for all. The meals are low in fat and sugar and have no extra salt added, while each dish has its individual nutritional analysis. Diners may choose from succulent grilled salmon steaks with lime and spicy crust or Thai beef salad, Berry and Mango pudding or Baked banana custard.

Claire Zammit Xuereb said, “Here at the Palace we believe in the quality of life and enjoying good food is certainly one of life’s pleasures. We believe that a healthy eating regime which does not necessarily mean reducing the pleasure or gratification of eating out or selecting an appealing meal in a 5-star restaurant. Our menus are purposely designed to offer a balanced, fat-reduced diet”.
