WasteServ Strengthens its senior management team

Peter Vella, Tonio Farrugia and Ivan F. Bartolo have been appointed chief operations officer, chief financial officer and chief projects manager respectively and will be part of a new WasteServ senior management team.

This team will complement the resources already available at the office of the chief executive officer and has the aim of streamlining the current services being offered by the company and intensifying its efforts in view of imminent developments in the waste management sector.

Chief operations officer Peter Vella is an engineer by profession. He has been practicing engineering for the past 16 years and his core responsibility will be to oversee all WasteServ’s facility operations and the provision of essential services to the public and the industrial and commercial sectors.

Chief projects manager Ivan F. Bartolo is an architect and civil engineer. He has been in project management for the past 17 years, offering a broad range of services in project planning, implementation and management. His services will be directed towards the management of new projects during their design, permitting, building and commissioning phases.

Chief financial officer Tonio Farrugia is a Certified Public Accountant. He has been practicing in finance and administration for the past 14 years and his main fields of responsibility will include the overall management of Finance, Human Resources, Administration, IT and the Legal Office of the Company.
