The Vodafone Malta Foundation donated €3600 to the social fund group within the Girls’ Secondary School, Lily of the Valley, in Mosta to buy food supplies for 10 families. This social fund group was set up in December 2006 to help students’ families in need. The members of the group are the Head of School and a number of teachers who offer their time voluntarily. Financial funds are collected through fund raising events organised by the school and through benefactors. Present during the donation ceremony were: Vodafone Malta Foundation’s co-ordinator Roberta Pace, Social Fund Group co-ordinator Loreto J.Dalli and members Charmaine Micallef, Carmen Dalli, Cathy Farrugia, Fiona Ciangura and Shawn Vella. Other members not seen in the photo are Joanne Cilia, Denise Pace Cefai, Sylvana Zerafa, Glorianne Debattista and Welma Ventura.
