Malta Enterprise and HSBC Bank signed a cooperation agreement last month through which HSBC was to support the business delegation that accompanied President Fenech Adami and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Tonio Borg on their official visit to Poland last week.

Alan Camilleri, Chairman of Malta Enterprise expressed his satisfaction that HSBC Bank had partly sponsored the event. HSBC will also be supporting the creation of business leads through the extensive network of the bank in Poland and the organisation of the network reception in Warsaw with the participation of both the Maltese and Polish branches.

On his part, Richard Cottell, Head of Commercial Banking at HSBC said that the bank is very pleased to support this important business event by using its international contacts and knowledge. The bank provided all the necessary support to the Maltese companies during and after their negotiations with Polish companies.
