As per customary procedure, Actavis Malta organised its first meeting of the year for all its employees. During this type of meeting, employees are informed about the global company’s direction overall, as well as key challenges and achievements. During this session, all Actavis Malta employees were presented with an assessment of the company’s key performance data of the preceding 12 months as well as an overview of the Malta facility’s key 2009 objectives, main projects and areas of focus. The meeting, with the title of Operation Orange, detailed how the Actavis Group and particularly Actavis Malta are well positioned to meet the challenges of the future.
In the course of the meeting, the company announced that its current managing director, Sergio Vella, will be taking on a six-month assignment leading the Actavis Nerviano facility in Italy, following which he will return to Malta to resume his former role.
During his absence, Franco Gatt, currently Supply Chain Divisional Manager of the Actavis Malta facility, will be taking on the role of acting managing director for local operations.
