Bay Mobile has just announced that its call centre will now be operating on weekends and public holidays from this coming weekend. Previously the Bay Mobile call center was opened Monday to Friday, however the opening hours have now been extended to Monday to Sunday from 8am to 5pm including public holidays.

Simon De Cesare Bay Mobile chief executive officer stated, “Our customers have asked and we have listened. Fortunately there are very few reasons to actually call a call centre given the depth of our website and the elimination of most technical issues however, customers like to know that it is there in case they require some additional help or service. Our SMS bundles are currently only purchased through our call centre or our retail outlet and the demand has been overwhelming necessitating this move.

“We will also be imminently launching our mobile web data tariffs, allowing browsing of the internet from your phone, which will also require some input when it comes to handset settings.

“The Bay Mobile retail shop has always been open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 10pm to serve customers who require a personal service but this adds to the customer experience.”
