Invu–for–Accountants Seminar

Malta Independent Sunday, 1 March 2009, 00:00 Last update: about 18 years ago

Infomate Group, a well established local group of ICT companies, in partnership with Invu, the fastest growing Digital Document Management company in Europe, will be holding a half-day seminar on 17 March at the Malta Institute of Accounting at its new premises in Swatar Business Tower.

Most accountants have to cope with the time-consuming exercise of managing a non-stop avalanche of documents. Each day, correspondence, both paper-based and in digital format, pour in and out of their organisation. Document Management tools are needed to address this problem and give them back time to focus not only on the job in hand, but also to enable them to locate, audit and share documents at a click of a button instead of searching through piles of paperwork.

Document Management solutions have been on the market for a number of years, but up to now many of them were out of reach for small-to-medium enterprises. Prices have now come down to such a level that a sophisticated, easy-to-use EDM system can cost as little as e1 a day per user, bringing it within the reach of the smallest firms and with easy access even to individual practitioners.

“We have identified the fact that there are many rapidly growing firms that are sacrificing their precious office space for countless number of filing-cabinets, to the detriment of desks which would otherwise accommodate more profitable resources. We have now found a solution, which is designed to streamline office efficiencies, enabling employer and employees alike to see significant operational and productivity improvements with a reduction in paper use and minimizing manual processes,” explained Ivan Mifsud, Business Development Executive at Infomate. “These systems have proved to be reliable and easy to use, and guarantee that they yield their return on investment in about six to 12 months.”
