GlobalCapital sponsored the Gozo Weekend Regatta that took place between Saturday 28 March and Tuesday 31 March. GlobalCapital has supported this event for the past three years.

The weekend regatta featured three races: the first race on Saturday was a passage race from Ta’ Xbiex to Mgarr Gozo; the second one on Sunday was from Mgarr back to Ta’ Xbiex and the third race on Tuesday 31 March, was from Ta’ Xbiex to St Paul’s Bay and back. The three races were followed by a prize-giving ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 31 March at the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
