The annual general meeting of shareholders of FIMBank was convened on 23 April. Najeeb H M Al-Saleh, chairman of the FIMBank Group, addressed the meeting and gave an overview of the performance for the 2008 financial year. He spoke about the current market climate and outlined projects and plans coming up in the future.

Mr Al-Saleh also announced that the bond issue had opened and closed earlier in the day after only 90 minutes – a strong vote of confidence in the group’s business model and strategy.

The meeting was well attended and all resolutions were approved by the shareholders.
