John Muscat has been appointed Finance Director Yellow Pages (Malta).

Mr Muscat joined Yellow Pages (Malta) in 2000 and was promoted to the Senior Management team in 2007 following an extensive restructuring programme. Throughout his nine years in the position of Financial Controller, he has been instrumental in assisting the Board to devise new financial and business strategies, which paved the way for the rapid expansion of the company.

Between 1993 and 1999 Mr Muscat worked for the Farsons Group as the Chief Accountant of Food Chain (Holdings) and in 1994 was promoted to Manager Finance of Simonds Farsons Cisk.

Mr Muscat graduated in Accountancy in 1989. He is a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants, and a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation.
