Rajt Malta Tinbidel (I saw Malta changing) is an excellent series of books written by Herbert Ganado who takes us back in time to the 20th century. In his autobiography the author covered events that had taken place in Malta at the end of the 19th century and most of the 20th century. He gave many detailed events of World War I and World War II, and also wrote about the formation of various Maltese governments in the past.
Dr Ganado used easy-to-follow Maltese language to narrate his autobiography in a very pleasant, interesting, humorous and lively way. His descriptions painted a clear picture of what he was relating about the military, social, personal life and day-to-day events during the war times up to the 1970s. In fact some of the simple social details that he penned added colour to his stories with a touch of humanity. Rajt Malta Tinbidel is a gem and perhaps one of the best books that we can have in our libraries.
