On 24 June H. E. Dr Caroline Gudenus visited the YWCA (Malta) premises in Valley Road, Msida. President Mary J. Jones and members welcomed the Ambassador and showed her around. The president said that YWCA was established with the sole aim of promoting women’s emancipation through leadership opportunities and educational training. While congratulating members for the excellent work for the community, the Ambassador said: “By means of your recently opened premises YWCA will definitely make a difference to women and young mothers who struggle to make ends meet.”

Fr Manuel Camilleri, Claudia Taylor East, Josephine Xuereb, Maria L. Fenech, Astrid Vella and Odette Chetcuti were among the guests who attended the event.
