More success for the Maltese swimmers in the FISEC Games being held in Algarve Portugal.
David Zammit took the silver medal in the 50m, and Robert Micallef obtained another silver in the 200m butterfly.
Another silver medal was won by Andrew Chetcuti in the 100m freestyle.
In the girls’ competitions Aprille Zammit won the bronze in the 50m butterfly. The boys 4x100m medley relay team won the silver medal with 4.09.87 which is a national record.
Results were not that positive from the athletics track were Sheldon Cassar could only finish in the 300m, and Marja Sciberras finished in fourth place in the 300m hurdles.
Annalise Vassallo could only finish fifth in the 200m final.
In the table tennis competition Malta was represented by James Dawson, Christopher Attard, Marcus Portelli and Andrea Portelli.
The results were rather disappointing with only one win by Andre Portelli against Portuguese Guilherme Dos santos.
The Games come to an end this evening.
