The Middlesea Group Social Club has once again held a day trip to Sicily, visiting various places around the island. The tour was held on a Sunday to make it possible for staff and their family members to attend.

The group travelled by catamaran to Pozzallo where a coach was waiting for them. Their first stop was in Modica where the group stopped for breakfast and then headed to Castello di Donna Fugata, where they had enough time to explore the interior chambers of the Castello as well as its extensive gardens.

The next visit was to Ibla, a beautiful medieval village in Ragusa characterised by its narrow streets and many shops selling various Sicilian delicacies. The group then took off to Marina di Ragusa for lunch, after which some members also went for a swim in the beautiful aquamarine sea. It was then time to drive back along the coast visiting Donna Lucata, Samperi and Marina di Modica and stop at Pozzallo centre.
