Firetech is a local leader in the fields of fire, safety and security solutions. With a vast array of technologically-advanced products and services, the company required a web portal to reflect their portfolio and to inform their clients about the ever-evolving developments in this market.

“We were asked to create an innovative portal that provides detailed information on the fire, safety and security products and services available from Firetech,” explains ICON director Ian Castillo. “The portal also had to be easy for Firetech to administer, so we deployed ICON.shop, our online shop solution, together with ICON.pay which allows Firetech’s customers to purchase online.”

ICON.shop, will put Firetech’s fire, safety and security products and services online, making them available to a whole host of new and potential clients by providing highly detailed information on each product thanks to a rich media system of text, images, videos and demos.

Firetech’s recently launched website includes ICON.snap – an efficient and easy-to-use system that allows administrators to update the website content at the touch of a button. ICON.e-news was also integrated, facilitating Firetech’s client communication through branded newsletters.

Mr Castillo added that “ICON.e-news provides Firetech with the tools to keep in constant communication with their client base. Regular, branded messages to your existing and potential customers can greatly increase your visibility.

“To complete this technology-rich portal, ICON also included an Automated Online Booking System (AOBS) that facilitates meetings for the company and their clients improving Firetech’s ability to serve their clients.

“The final product strengthens Firetech’s position as a local leader, now with a forward-thinking web portal to match,” he concluded.
