The Lions Club Mdina recently organised their annual summer event Lejla Maltija at Castello dei Baroni, in Wardija.

The superb setting, the clear summer evening skies together with the sumptuous dinner, made the well attended event a very enjoyable evening.

The venue was kindly made available by Madame Marie Angelique Caruana.

A prestigious Damiani necklace, donated by Diamonds International was drawn during the function.

Proceeds will go towards the club’s project at Dar Qalb ta’ Gesu, Cini Institute, shelter for victims of domestic violence.
