Summer has come to an end, and as is the norm for Frank Salt Real Estate, a summer barbeque was organised for its member of staff, relatives and friends. This time however, the event was tied in to a good cause, whereby monies were collected in aid of Dar il-Kaptan.

The barbeque was organised by director Douglas Salt, with the assistance of Stanley Bonello and other members of staff. The entertainment was left in the hands of a local DJ, and with great food and live entertainment, the Frank Salt Real Estate crowd had a thorough time.

Donations from staff members were collected and passed on to Dar il-Kaptan, with the total sum of e1,100 being gathered.

“The Frank Salt Real Estate Group is very conscious and pro-active where it comes to the local social and philanthropic arena,” says Douglas Salt. “And luckily enough, this mentality is also embraced by our team.”

The beneficiary chosen was Dar il-Kaptan and the Foundation for Respite Care Services, a non-profit organisation committed to providing a professional respite service to people with disabilities and their families, so that people with disabilities can remain in their family home and continue to live in their community. “No matter how small, we hope that through such gesture, we can make a difference to the life of those who are less fortunate” stated Douglas Salt. “If every Maltese contributed a little towards similar such social initiatives, all members of society will lead a much healthier and happier life.”

This event also formed part of the activities being undertaken by the company to commemorate its 40 years anniversary.

The barbeque was also made possible through the collaboration of Alf Mizzi & Sons, Island Beverages, Camel Brand, Demajo and Regus Business Centre.
