A group of over 350 Bank of Valletta employees participated in the President's Charity Fun Run which was held on Sunday 6 December 2009 in aid of the Istrina Campaign that is raising funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund.

Participants in this event also included BOV's Chief Officer Operations Igino Xuereb who headed the BOV contingent during the marathon. The majority of the group joined the runners and walkers when they moved past BOV Centre in St Venera.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr Xuereb said “We are proud that such a large group of BOV employees participated in the fun run. The BOV Group had a large presence in the event and, as a strong supporter of the Malta Community Chest Fund, we are proud to see that so many of our employees chose to dedicate their time and money towards such a good cause.”
