Bank of Valletta is supporting ‘Cooperatives for a Sustainable Environment’, a conference being organised by Koperattivi Malta on Friday at the Dolmen Hotel in Qawra.
Energy saving measures in Maltese building design, water resources in Malta, funding for the protection of the environment, agriculture and its role in the climate change formula, as well as sustainable fishing are among the topics being tackled during the conference.
As part of its responsibilities towards the wider community, especially in light of safeguarding the environment within which it operates, Bank of Valletta regularly participates in a number of initiatives that aim to create and disseminate information about the protection and sustainability of our natural habitat. The conference on sustainable environment is a unique opportunity to bring to light issues that are of vital importance for the local community.
