The European Institute of Education (eie) has just clinched a deal to represent the New York Film Academy (NYFA) in Malta, making it possible for the eie Study Abroad unit to enroll Maltese students on the NYFA programmes.
The New York Film Academy is considered one of the most prominent fixtures of film education in the world. It was designed for a new generation of filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, producers and animators who share a passion for motion pictures and want to learn by making their own projects in a hands-on, intensive programme. Its goal is to give students the basic tools and practical hands-on experience needed for filmmaking. The students themselves will apply what they have learned to whichever path they take.
The courses at NYFA are intended for professionals and beginners alike, provided they have the will to learn and the drive to mix with the best in the industry. At NYFA students can learn all aspects of film-making: From operating a camera, to lighting a scene, or editing a film.
