Where’s Everybody was awarded four Malta Television Awards for its programmes last Saturday.

These are: Best Entertainment Programme, Best Current Affairs programme, Best Talk-show programme and Best Game Show Programme.

Xarabank was awarded its fourth consecutive Best Talk Show Programme Award, in as many years. The latest Media Warehouse Survey ranked Xarabank first among all local and foreign programmes broadcasted, anytime, any day of the week. This statistic confirms an audience breakthrough, garnering an impressive peak of 158,000 viewers.

Bondiplus hosted by Lou Bondi won the Best Current Affairs Programme Award, an award that comes within just a few months of the programme registering second favourite of all TVM programmes as reported in the latest Media Warehouse Survey.

Pjazza, a weekly entertainment programme aired in the summer, won the Best Entertainment Programme Award. The programme featured a pool as an integral part of its set, top local and foreign music, games and cultural inserts together with grand prizes. It was presented by current Hadd Ghalik presenter Angie Laus, and former Xarabank manager Peter Carbonaro.

Deal or No Deal, hosted by Pablo Micallef was awarded Best Game Show Programme. The game show has to date handed out nearly three quarters of a million euros in prize money to its contestants.

Where’s Everybody would like to thank PBS, its loyal viewers and sponsors, without whom these programmes would not be possible.
