Middlesea Insurance Employees Obtain Professional Qualifications

Three members of staff of Middlesea Insurance plc and its subsidiary, International Insurance Management Services Ltd (IIMS), recently obtained professional qualifications in their respective fields.

Romina Desira successfully completed her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), Adrian Farrugia graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Banking, Insurance and Risk Management from Sheffield Hallam University (UK), and Daniela Vella obtained her ACII certificate, an internationally recognised professional qualification in insurance awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Ms Desira has formed part of IIMS’s Finance Department since 2006. Mr Farrugia forms part of the Brokers Unit at Middlesea Insurance and joined the company three years ago, and Ms Vella has worked in the company’s Motor Underwriting Department since 2002.

Middlesea Insurance Chief Operating Officer Anne Marie Tabone and IIMS General Manager Elizabeth Carbonaro both congratulated the employees on their achievements and their efforts.
