Air Malta this year celebrates 20 years of operations at Exeter Airport, where the airline’s jets have become a regular feature every Tuesday morning, linking Exeter and Malta with a three-hour direct flight.
The operation, which started as a summer series, quickly developed and extended into the winter and shoulder months for most of the years. An average of 7,000 passengers each year have made use of this service. The national airline operates such flights offering full service treatment to passengers consisting of a complimentary meal, 8kgs free hand luggage allowance and 20kgs free baggage allowance per person, and in-flight entertainment.
In line with the current market requirements and projections, Air Malta is planning to start the weekly charter service as from April next year that will run throughout the summer season.
