GlobalCapital has announced the appointment of Mr James Blake as Chief Operations Officer of its Financial Services Division.
The role of the COO is taking on a wider mandate and in such capacity Mr Blake will be primarily responsible for the company’s business processes and efficiencies, implementation of operational strategy and projects together with internal support functions.
Mr Blake is a director on the main board of GlobalCapital plc and is Chairman of GlobalCapital Funds SICAV plc. Throughout his tenure with the group he has held a number of key senior roles including Managing Director of Globe Financial Management Ltd during its early development. Mr Blake has extensive knowledge of the financial services industry which he began to foster back in the early 80s during the time when he trained and worked in the City of London. He returned to Malta in the early 1990s to participate in the significant changes taking place in Malta’s financial services legislation at that time.
