The highly popular, comedy group Zoo is back on the national television station with a fun mix of shows for the new season.
There’s a new quiz show running from this month on TVM, and it’s guaranteed to keep you glued to your seats waiting for more! Brought to you by the Zoo team, VIP Xow is presented by Daniel Chricop, Chrysander Agius and Owen Bonnici, who team up with four different personalities every week, putting each guest against each other until the winner is announced.
Broadcast every Monday right after Bondiplus, VIP Xow is all about bringing out the competitive element of those Maltese celebrities we’ve all grown to know. The series comes to an end with eagerly awaited Finals, when the search for the most intelligent participant will finally be over. But of course, by “most intelligent” the Zoo team does not necessarily mean that questions and games will be the ones that the viewers usually expect. On the contrary, expect the unexpected from the wacky trio with strange games that will stimulate a variety of skills that range from patience to cunning and straightforward intelligence.
The quiz show will present people whom we thought we knew well in a totally different light as they struggle to come out victorious over their competitiors. Althout there will be a fantastic prize for the final winner, this game show is very much about the characters and personalities of the guests as opposed to the prize itself.
This is a total departure from the style of shows that Daniel, Sander and even Owen are known for. With a dash of humour, the trio are suddenly transformed into “quiz masters” and it won’t take you long to realise that they’re all naturalso at this. Don’t forget to tune in every Monday for a big dose of fun!
It’s a kid’s world
This is not the only offering by Zoo for the season – Claire Agius Ordway, the other member of the well-loved team will be presenting a new series called Hajja. The programme is a highly informative one, where viewers will be given tips and advice about parenthood. Kids will make you laugh and cry, will make you happy and frustrated in equal turns, proud and embarrassed in quick succession and coping with the ups and downs is not always easy! Hajja will include interviews with people who are going through particularly relevant experiences, talks with celebrity mothers and even advice from parents about how to cope with the changes that parenthood brings with it. Of course, the input of professional people like midwives, child-carers, psychologists and others will not be missing either and viewers are encouraged to send any questions by email on [email protected]
Hajja is being aired ever Thursday on TVM after the 6 o’clock news.
