Hyundai Motors Europe President Mr. Chang-Kyun Han will be visiting Malta tomorrow where he will be unveiling the Hyundai i30’s new look. Mr Han is currently touring a number of major Hyundai offices in Europe and this will be his first visit to local agents Meridian Enterprises co Ltd.

“We are delighted to host Mr Han in Malta and also very glad that he will be unveiling the new and successful i30 model for the Maltese market,” states Francesca Mamo, Managing Director of Meridian Enterprises Co Ltd, importers and distributors of Hyundai in Malta. “Facelifted in the spring, the new i30 continues to be Hyundai’s best performer in Europe this year, with sales up 30% on 2009. This success is closely repeated by the i20 which with a sales increase of 24% compared to the opening nine months of last year,” said Ms Mamo.

Born in 1959, Mr Chang-Kyun Han studied Business Management at the Kookmin University in Seoul. He started his career in marketing at KIA Motors and was also responsible for the establishing of KIA’s subsidiary in Moscow where he served as president for two years. In January of this year, Mr Han joined Hyundai as President of Hyundai Motors Europe.
