Debenhams presented a donation to the Breast Care Support Group Europa Donna Malta (BCSG) following an awareness campaign organised at Debenhams at The Point in Sliema. The cheque was presented by Lorraine Vella, Debenhams Visual Merchandise & Sales Manager, to Anne Micallef, BCSG Secretary, and Antoinette Attard, BCSG Committee Member, in the presence of Simon Fleri Soler, Store Sales Manager.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Week, customers were able to get information and advice from representatives of the BCSG. In addition, customers could avail themselves of a free professional bra fitting service and a 10% discount on every lingerie item. Debenhams gave a donation to BCSG for every lingerie item sold.

The Breast Care Support Group Europa Donna Malta was set up to support and encourage newly diagnosed sufferers and those receiving with treatment through to recovery and life after treatment and possible reconstructive surgery.

Lorraine Vella said: “Debenhams is supportive of the BCSG and their sterling work to help breast cancer sufferers and survivors and this donation is a small way to recognise this immeasurable effort.”
