Cynergi Health and Fitness Club has recently appointed Mr Jim Harvey to the post of General Manager. Mr Harvey will be in charge of overseeing the running of all aspects of the fitness club.

Mr Harvey has spent the majority of his working life in the health & fitness industry, working for two of the UK & Europe’s largest operators: Holmes Place and Virgin Active.

Initially part of the management team of England’s National Badminton Centre (training ground of their national team), Mr Harvey moved on to manage Virgin Active’s lifestyle club at the Xscape complex, which also boasts a real snow indoor ski-slope and Airkix indoor skydiving centre. He also trained as a Body Pump instructor and pool lifeguard. Having relocated to Malta eighteen months ago, he is keen to improve the experience of everyone looking to keep fit and healthy across the islands. He stated “I am proud and excited to be a part of Malta’s top health and fitness club and look forward to the challenges it brings.”

As one of his first challenges, Mr Harvey will be overseeing a major refurbishment of the club which will also be bringing new services and facilities to the club which will be announced shortly. There are many new projects and activities which Mr Harvey and his team are avidly working on.
