Students of the Malta International Training Centre (MITC) received certificates and diplomas at the annual graduation ceremony after successfully completing training programmes at the centre.

The certificates and diplomas in a variety of insurance and finance disciplines were presented by Joseph Demanuele, chief operations officer of the Malta Financial Services Authority. Mr Demanuele highlighted the importance of equipping the industry with professional and competent staff and explained how the local regulator is supporting training initiatives in the best interests of the financial services market.

Also receiving certificates were participants from Commonwealth countries who were in Malta on a week’s training programme in insurance supervision and regulation.
