C.Cini MFG Ltd, Danish Bakery Ltd and James Caterers are the latest companies to sign up with the GreenPak Coop and place the internationally renowned Green Dot trademark across their wide range of products. This tangible gesture strengthens their approach in commiting to a more ‘greener’ way of doing business.
The prospect of being proactive and sustainable on environmental issues was the primary reasons for the company Danish Bakery Ltd to opt to join GreenPak’s Coop and adopt the Green Dot icon on their range of products. Besides the sliced sandwich bread packaging which the company is famous for, the symbol has been extended to the other anciallry products, such as the confectionary range and other morning goods.
C.Cini MFG Ltd, who trace their origins to the 1930s, are the food manufacturers and packers of the popular brand Lamb. Amongst the newly Green Dot labelled Lamb products one can find legumes, pulses, nuts, flour and pasta.
“Adopting the Green Dot trademark underlines our commitment in contributing towards a safer and cleaner environment especially for future generations,” said C.Cini MFG Ltd.
James Caterers, a local leading catering company supplying factories, hotels, hospitals and elderly homes with food products, accentuates that today’s customers are more sensitive to the way a company operates. Amongst the range of products that the Green Dot icon now features on are the Jamesburys Range and Premium Food, which include biscuits, local traditional products, and frozen items.
There are currently over 350 other Maltese companies signed up with the GreenPak waste recovery scheme. These companies make use of the Green Dot trademark which is synonymous with manufacturers who actively contribute towards the recovery and recycling of the materials put on the market.
