Middlesea Insurance has announced the winners of the Discover University Competition on Campus, in the presence of Rector, Juanito Camilleri, University Secretary, Simon Sammut and Middlesea Chief Officer, Simon Anastasi. The winners are: Kristina Caligari, the winner of an iPad, Kurt Slattery, the winner of an iPhone, and Daniel Caruana, winner of an iPod.

Middlesea Insurance sponsored the well-attended Discover University Open Week which offered students the opportunity to explore the university facilities courses and ongoing research. During a full week the university organised a series of lectures, presentations, exhibitions and talks aimed at young students who wish to pursue their studies at the university, alumni, as well as members of the public. On this occasion Middlesea Insurance had a stand on campus to provide more information about the products on offer and also gave the students the chance to win great prizes.

During this event, employees of Middlesea Insurance also distributed €25 discount vouchers to be redeemed by anyone who is taking out or renewing a motor policy in 2011.
