It is not unusual to see youngsters involved in the local theatre scene but it is rare to have the opportunity to experience a performance that has been completely built from the ground up by a group of young, enthusiastic actors.

With the help of a brilliant script by Christopher William Hill, and under the direction of Anthony Bezzina, the Royal Blue Class from Masquerade Theatre Arts School has strived to create a dynamic, comic and ultimately entertaining production. The fast-paced Heartbreak Beautiful is a complete riot from it’s opening scene, as the play follows the story of a group of teenagers with different aspirations and different attitudes towards life.

The play gives these young actors opportunities to shine individually, but it’s the group dynamics that truly takes the performance to the next level.
