Institute Of family therapy launched

The Institute of Family Therapy Malta was recently established by a team of professionally qualified Family Therapists in a bid to further contribute towards securing the well-being of families and individuals in Malta and Gozo. The team behind IFT Malta includes Charlie Azzopardi, Carmen Delicata, Karen Bishop, and Joseph Mangion. The Institute is a member of the Training Institutes Chamber of the European Family Therapy Association and also an Institutional Member in Good Standing of the International Family Therapy Association

The services offered by IFT Malta include training for professionals in Systemic Family Psychotherapy, approved by the Malta Qualifications Council. IFT Malta also offers a diversity of therapies including individual, group, and family psychotherapy; family mediation. It also provides family education to the general public; consultation to organisations and professionals in relation to clinical practice; clinical supervision to organisations and professionals in relation to clinical practice; systemic consultation to public or private organisations ; research on family related subjects; constant liaison with other institutions.

IFT Malta is committed to deliver education programmes for parents, children, schools and organisations to promote well-being in society, based on positive family and work environments, and a healthy balance between the two.
