We are pleased to announce that Yellow Pages has appointed Ruben Curmi to fill the post of ICT and Production General Manager, within the senior management team.

Mr Curmi has a first degree in Communications Engineering from the University of Malta, and has considerable experience in the field of ICT.

He comes to us after 17 years with GO plc where he was Head of Department: Billing Mediation Systems and Network Management. He was originally appointed in 1994, to manage a team of over 100 employees in the cables and lines sections, which dealt with handling of reported faults and maintenance. In 2005 Mr Curmi was promoted to Network Management Systems Manager within GO Engineering fixed network division, a job that required in depth knowledge of ICT systems, systems architecture and design, and project management.

In 2008, during an internal merger process at GO, Mr Curmi was assigned responsibility for Billing Mediation, Revenue Assurance management, Service Provisioning, Fault and Performance monitoring for the entire GO group.

Mr Curmi brings to Yellow Pages skills, learnt on the job and from formal training, in the following areas: IT Infrastructure; Management Systems, Telecommunication Systems, and Software Development.

He currently also holds the position of Chairman of the National Accreditation Board of Malta (NAB).
