OOKLA operates the internationally renowned online service www.speedtest.net and also developed www.netindex.com. NetIndex is a measure of speeds and quality of service offered by internet service providers worldwide. Index results as at the end of June for average download speed delivered by Melita to its customers is measured at more than 16 Megabits per second. This is almost 3 times the average speed measured in tests by other DSL or wireless internet providers in Malta.
