Malta Independent Thursday, 4 August 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Lyanne Mifsud, 22, has been presented with her two winning tickets for a weekend trip to Paris after having submitted what was deemed as the most original reply to the question “I love Oysho because...”

The competition was organised earlier this year by Oysho situated at The Point shopping mall in Tignè Point as part ofa promotional campaign of its Spring and Summer 2011 collections.

“Oysho is a brand that celebrates women and promotes the importance that women love themselves first and foremost and that they love feeling comfortable within their own intimacy. And since we were talking about love, we thought of hosting an exhibition where our patrons were asked to tell us why they love this brand and in return, they were given the opportunity to win a romantic trip for two to the capital city of love – Paris,” explains Annabel Gauci, Manager of Oysho outlet at The Point.

“We were very delighted with the high level of participation for this competition in fact we had over 500 submissions to review and choosing the winning comment was a very challenging task for all those involved. We are also very happy for Ms Mifsud who will now be travelling to Paris during the first weekend of August. This was one of our ways to deliver a more special Oysho experience to all our customers,” added Ms Caruana.

Oysho is all about casual and informal loungewear, underwear, intimate apparel and unique accessories for the woman who wants to be comfortable at home but at the same time, comfortable and attractive to herself and within her own personal surroundings.

In fact this is very much in line with the winning comment submitted by Ms Mifsud who described the brand as one that offers extreme comfort both during the day and at night. “Thanks to the very comfortable material of its clothes, it’s as though whatever I wear feels like I’m being embraced. I do feel ‘loved’ by the brand,” explained Ms Mifsud.

Selling the latest fashion trends in women’s lingerie and intimate apparel, Oysho also offers urban and casual outerwear and comfortable loungewear, as well as unique accessories. Founded in 2001, Oysho is present with over 400 stores in 24 countries.
