Air Malta has won ST Microelectronics’ Best Regional Carrier 2010 Award, announced during a conference for service providers held recently by ST Microelectronics in Singapore. The award was presented to Air Malta CEO Peter Davies by Joe Lombardo, the then group vice-president global logistics & warehousing, company infrastructure and services, together with Philip Debattista, Logistics Manager at ST Microelectronics (Malta) during a visit to Malta.

During the short presentation, Mr Lombardo explained in detail the long business relationship that Air Malta has had with ST Microelectronics ever since the opening of their plant in Malta. He added that ST Microelectronics is looking forward to strengthen the existing bond with Air Malta for the years to come.
