Bank of Valletta is inviting children to participate in the presentation of the L-Istrina BOV Piggy Bank Campaign donation during the live broadcast of L-Istrina on the 26 December 2011 from the Verdala Palace.

A dedicated page for the BOV Piggy Bank campaign has been launched on Facebook. The page tells the story behind this campaign as it celebrated its 8th anniversary. Updates, including details of the First Lady’s visits to schools will be available as the live broadcast draws closer..

Parents and guardians are invited to upload photographs of their children as they donate coins in one of the large BOV Istrina Piggy Banks that can be found in popular spots around Malta. These photographs can be shared with family and friends who are then able to vote for them. The children in photographs receiving the highest number of votes will join BOV representatives to present the donation relating to the L-Istrina BOV Piggy Bank Campaign during the live broadcast on Boxing Day.

This is the eighth year in which Bank of Valletta is encouraging younsters to give something small towards the less fortunate in our society. Over the past seven editions, Bank of Valletta has already presented over €430,000 to this noble cause.
