Baci Lingerie store opens at Baystreet

Malta Independent Friday, 3 February 2012, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

The American lingerie franchise BACI has opened its first store in Malta within the new retail section on Level 2 at Baystreet. The store design is an unexpected combination of old-world luxury, decadence and elegance mixed with contemporary aesthetics, cool technology, and a few fun architectural details. The end result is a clean, modern, unbelievably beautiful BACI lingerie store that will greatly enhance the shopping experience. “With our design, we will give each customer the atmosphere and service of an exclusive boutique, without compromising our price point,” a spokesperson for BACI in Malta said.

Intentionally provocative, the new BACI lingerie brand wants to be talked about. Only this month the brand received the famous 2012 Xbiz Awards, held in Los Angeles, for Best Lingerie brand of the Year and Best Accessories of the Year (eyelashes).

The BACI lingerie philosophy and concept are based on offering a wide range of well designed, high quality lingerie at the lowest possible prices in the world. Each item is shown using the best photography and artwork, and superior packaging.

“We immediately fell in love with BACI lingerie and we are very excited and thrilled to be part of this revolution of the lingerie market,” the spokesman said. “It’s now apparent that the word BACI stands for affordable luxury in intimate apparel, accessible to everyone.

“For the first time ever, each Maltese woman will be able to enjoy glamorous lingerie at an affordable price every day. Women are going to respond to the beauty of the product, the artfulness of the presentation, and they are definitely going to respond to the prices.”

Miami-based BACI made one of the most grandiose entrances of any intimate apparel brand in 2009 with its debut line—the White Collection. In 2011 it followed this up with the appropriately (and logically) titled Black Label Collection. The idea and inspiration for the Black Label Collection is to create high-end designed lingerie that is more affordable and more mainstream, but make it a little more provocative than other similar, well-known brands.
