FIMBank has launched a revamped website at www.fimbank.com, which has been transformed into a modern and dynamic trade finance portal. “We recognise the need to be at the forefront of technological innovation in order to give the best possible service to our clients, partners, correspondent banks, stakeholders and prospects,” explained Jason Zammit, the bank’s Head of Public and Media Relations. “Our website is often the first point of contact with the bank, and we have therefore made it our goal to focus on usability, ensuring that the right information and other important features sought by our stakeholders are easy to find and to understand.”

The launch of the site, which was designed and developed by Alert Communications, follows various workshops held with FIMBank’s staff. These resulted in the web design company creating a newly structured template with a fresh, uncluttered design. Meanwhile, improved user experience has been achieved through the creation of intuitive menus, better use of space on the homepage and the adoption of navigational aids, making it much easier for visitors to find and access the information they require. “We are committed to providing customers with exceptional trade finance and banking services, and will continue using the most advanced technologies available to achieve this objective,” Mr Zammit stated.

The FIMBank site is powered by the Alert Web Publisher, which gives the bank full control over what is displayed in the site. Alert have also developed a system that enables users to scroll through FIMBank’s offers and promotions. The animated element has been developed using latest technologies that allow it to be visible and functional on all popular platforms, browsers, mobiles and tablets.

FIMBank’s core competence is international trade finance, with key services focusing on Letters of Credit with back-to-back facilities and commodity trade finance. The bank also offers international fund transfers, term deposit accounts, forward contracts, bank guarantees and a foreign exchange service. Moreover, FIMBank operates Easisave.com, the innovative web-based savings solution.
