Actavis has announced the appointment of Patrick Cachia as the new Managing Director for Actavis Limited Malta.

Mr Cachia graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Malta in 1994 and joined Pharmamed Ltd, in November of the same year. He held the position of Production Registration Officer. He was later promoted to Production Manager of Pharmamed Parenterals Ltd (PPL) in 1997 and to Production Manager of Pharmamed Ltd in June 2004. Until recently, Mr Cachia held the post of Production Division Manager for Actavis Ltd were he was heavily involved in the upgrade and operation of the site.

Mr Cachia will carry out his duties of Managing Director with immediate affect as from the 24th February 2012. He also holds an Executive MBA from the University of Malta.
