The Holy Family Home for the Elderly will be organising a bazaar in the spacious front garden of the Home today and tomorrow between 9.30am and 7.30pm.

Several new items, Easter decorations, unwanted gifts, second-hand goods, collectables, plants, figolli and cakes will be for sale. Fresh vegetables will also be sold at a very low price.

The Holy Family Home for the Elderly is a Church Home managed by the Catholic Action. At present there are 85 residents living in this Home and most of these residents require nursing care. Although residents pay a fee, it is not sufficient to cover the cost of the high standard of care offered by the Home and is therefore aided financially by the Catholic Church and through fund-raising activities organised by the Board of Management. The Home is also supported by a number of volunteers.
