The three winners of the Weddings’ Weekend competition were presented with their prizes at the Palace by the hotel manager Kevin Callus.

The grand prize winner was Rita Galea who won a weekend break in one of the designer suites at The Palace. The second prize went to Noemi Attard who was presented with a weekend break at the Victoria Hotel. Mr. Heath Schembri won the consolation prize consisting of a dinner for two at TemptAsian Restaurant.

The Weddings’ Weekend was organized in January by The Palace, The Victoria Hotel and Palazzo Capua in Sliema, and teamed up with some of Malta’s leading wedding suppliers to set up the fair. For this event all wedding venues at the hotels including The Tabloid, the Royal Hall, the State Hall, Alexandra Gardens, Palazzo Capua, The Copperfield’s Restaurant and TemptAsian, with its panoramic view of the Grand Harbour were open for public viewing.

The Weddings’ Weekend served as one stop shop for all those planning their future wedding.

To participate in the competition, the Weddings’ Weekend visitors needed to write a short article describing the best wedding they’ve ever been to.
