VFM And VFS enjoyed a day of activities with the children of Angela House

Valletta Fund Management Limited (“VFM”) and Valletta Fund Services Limited (“VFS”) have recently organised a day full of activities for the children of Angela House of the Ursuline Sisters, Gwardamangia. The event took place at Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala.

During the event, staff members from both companies together with the children of Angela House had the opportunity to gather in a social environment and enjoy a morning full of sports activities which was coordinated by representatives of both companies together with the “Inspire Foundation” animation team. Following lunch, the group visited the animal park where the children had the opportunity to meet the Inspire Mascot as well as take a ride on the train and jump on the bouncy castle.

Kenneth Farrugia, BOV Chief Officer Fund Services stated “This is another initiative within the corporate social responsibility program of both companies. Besides being the leading players within the fund management and fund administration business, we are strongly committed to our social responsibility obligations and are constantly seeking to pro-actively take an active role to make a positive contribution within the community”.

Mother Luciana, Superior Mother of the Ursuline Sisters thanked the staff and management of both Companies for their kindness and for sparing their free time towards such a good cause. She concluded “Such initiatives will help in understanding better the needs of these children, whilst encouraging them to participate in similar sport events.”
