Batman And Spiderman drawing competitions

Euro Media Forum and Science is Culture in collaboration with Eden Cinemas has announced a drawing competition aimed at persons aged 14 and over, the winner will be the receiver of two tickets to see the final upcoming Batman blockbuster movie – The Dark Knight Rises in July.

Participants are required to draw and colour a Batman picture. All entries will be exhibited at the Italian Cultural Institute where the Batman vs Spider-Man event will take place on 25 June. The winner will be announced during the Monday 25 June event and the judging panel will consist of a number of professionals in the field of comic book creation.

Each participant is allowed one entry which should be submitted on an A4 paper containing the drawing of Batman together with the name, telephone number identification number of participant or legal guardian, email and home address. Entries can be submitted by post or delivered by hand to reception staff at the Italian Cultural Institute, St George’s Square, Valletta, VLT 1190 (next to the Attorney General office) opposite the Malta Parliament. Closing date is Friday 22 June.

Participants are encouraged to attend the Batman vs Spider-Man event that will take place on Monday the 25 June at the Italian Cultural Institute at 7p.m. During this event Batman and Spider-man will be discussed in terms of their power in stimulating learning and scientific relevance. This is an occasion which will be of interest to people who have an interest in the subject, children and parents. Entrance is free.

The Amazing Spiderman

competition for under 13s

Euro Media Forum and Science is Culture, again in collaboration with Eden Cinemas are proud to announce a competition aimed at children up to the age of 13, coinciding with the new release of the Amazing Spiderman movie in July at Eden Cinemas.

Participants are required to draw and colour a Spiderman picture. All entries will be exhibited at the Italian Cultural Institute where the Batman vs Spider-Man event will take place on Monday 25 June. The winner will be announced at the 25 June event and the judging panel will consist of a number of professionals in the field of comic book creation. The winner will be the receiver of two children’s tickets plus one ticket for an accompanied parent to attend the Spiderman premiere at the Eden Cinemas in July.
