July will see the start of the BrightStart 2012 Recruitment Event at Deloitte

“It is Deloitte’s intention to present students and graduates with an advantageous opportunity to continue their studies in professional services with constant support from our firm. This support occurs during their studies, as well as offering invaluable on-the-job work experience,” said Paul Mercieca, chief executive officer of Deloitte Malta.

The Deloitte BrightStart 2012 is being organised to provide students and graduates with more information about specific programmes for tertiary education in professional services. Each educational programme is designed differently and offers students and graduates the flexibility to select the one that best suits their requirements.

The Deloitte ACA Programme allows students to focus on their studies for most of the year while dedicating just a few months of the year to work experience at Deloitte.

The Deloitte ACCA Programme is designed for those who wish to continue their studies during full time employment at Deloitte.

The Deloitte Pathway Programme is aimed primarily at students reading for a degree in the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA) and who are majoring in Accountancy. Deloitte also offers programmes to law students with an interest in taxation. Students receive relevant support during their studies and the opportunity to gain work experience in the summer months.

The BrightStart recruitment event will take place on Friday 6 July between 4 and 8pm and on Saturday 7 July between 10am and 2pm. Besides information about the various Deloitte educational programmes, a number of recruitment advisers will be on hand to address any particular queries an individual may have. Various activities will be organised on both days.
