National Cinema Day Next Saturday

KRS Film Distributors, together with cinema exhibitors, will be holding the 17th edition of the annual National Cinema Day next Saturday, 7 July.

The eagerly-awaited day will give local cinemagoers the opportunity to watch some of the best film

releases this year, at discounted prices of admission of €3.50 for normal films and €5 for those exhibited in 3D format.

Film shows at all cinemas in Malta on the day will start at 9am and run until late at night, while film screenings at the two-screen Citadel Cinema in Gozo will be at 6pm and 8.30/pm.

To ensure that this year’s National Cinema Day will be another cinema celebration, KRS and local exhibitors have planned a programme of films, which includes no fewer than 12 blockbusters, and a range of films of all genres to satisfy the taste of the thousands who flock to the cinema on the day.
