The La Valette Far East Opportunities Fund was launched on the 3 July 2000 and up to the 31 May 2012, has grown to over US$4 million in funds under management. The robust performance of the Fund has registered since inception an appreciation in its NAV of 47.39%. The funds positioning as at the 31 May 2012 points up the fund manager’s preference to countries like China and Australia with financials-based companies heading the sector allocation of the fund. Other top sectors include companies in industrials, energy, information technology and healthcare sectors amongst others.

The La Valette Far East Opportunities Fund is accessible from a lump sum investment of US$1000 or through a monthly investment plan of US$50 per month.

Funds classified as Growth Funds are suitable for investors seeking long term capital growth. Investors should appreciate that such investment opportunities can be more exposed to market cycles and short-term fluctuations.
